Habakkuk 2:2-3—‘Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets so that those who read it may run. For the vision is for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.  Though it tarries, wait for it;  it will certainly come, it will not delay.’

Our vision is important to provide focus and unity in accomplishing the will of God.  Every individual within the church is meant to play a vital role in influencing the world for God’s glory out of our corporate ministry vision.  The role of the church is to collectively focus the individual giftings and callings through our corporate vision in order to impact the world.

It is important for everyone to understand our local church vision in order to know how they can ‘fit’ into the purposes of God.  Everyone is needed to be a part of the team!  Ephesians 6:11-16—‘...from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.’

1.  Ethnically diverse—God has called us to build a fellowship that is racially and culturally diverse to be a testimony to
the world of racial harmony in Christ’s love.  We are called to celebrate the diversity of cultures under the banner of
    kingdom culture.

2.  Fellowship—We emphasize relationships, unity, and sharing our common life together.  We realize we need each
    other to accomplish God’s purpose.

3.  Equipping believers—We equip believers by teaching, serving, and discipleship.  We believe that every believer is a
minister of the gospel and an ambassador for Christ’s kingdom.  We equip believers to live an effective Christian life in
    every area of their life.

4.  Reach lost and unchurched—Mat 9:37-38— ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.  Therefore beseech
the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.’

5.  Build a house of prayer and worship—Jesus said, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for the nations.’  As
the King of kings and Lord of lords, He is worthy of our worship and praise.

6.  Develop godly families—We are called to equip families so that they can exemplify the blessings of the kingdom.
Christ is the answer to the real life needs that every family faces.  Each family has a destiny and purpose in the kingdom
    of God.

7. Transform cities—God’s heart is the transformation of individuals, families, communities, and cities so that Christ’s
    kingdom is apparent to all.
